Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the monthly and annual financial closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and internal controls.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in the external audit process and coordinate with auditors to facilitate a smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain accounting software and systems to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to senior management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
