Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for corporate clients
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Manage tax compliance filings and audits (federal/state/local)
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP standards and best practices
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven track record in audit preparation and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations
