Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities
