Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives to management.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MAcc) or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulatory standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
