Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes with GAAP compliance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with tax department for compliance reporting
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Kansas CPA license required
