Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and operational budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings to ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment execution.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify operational efficiencies and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or Master’s in Accountancy (MAcc) is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and tax compliance standards.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
