Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and perform variance analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance laws.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
