Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for DCAA compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and provide supporting documentation
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for government contracts
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP and FAR standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with government contracts
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, DCAA, and FAR regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven experience managing month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
