Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate clients
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing accounting teams or mentoring junior staff
- Active Pennsylvania CPA license required
