Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and identify areas for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain annual budgets and forecasting models.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
