Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis to management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
