Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate cash flow reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliation activities
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and reconciliation procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with financial audits and compliance documentation
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
