Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and compliance activities for corporate entities
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using accounting software like QuickBooks and SAP
- Conduct audits and reconciliations for multi-entity portfolios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing multi-state tax filings and audits
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
