Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) for stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Lead internal audit coordination and SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during compliance reviews
- Streamline accounting workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven experience managing deadlines in high-volume environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
