Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with variance analysis for executive stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance documentation
- Implement internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain detailed financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of public/private accounting experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience in manufacturing or healthcare accounting preferred
