Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and month-end closing
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations (federal/state)
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit processes
- Develop financial models and variance analysis reports
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel advanced functions
- Proven track record in month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of Arizona tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in high-pressure situations
