Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Oversee budgeting processes and variance analysis for department heads
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial examinations
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Support tax preparation and compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of progressive experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit strongly preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax codes, and financial controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven track record in process optimization and financial reporting
