Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Prepare detailed financial statements and tax documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support cross-functional financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Proven track record of improving accounting processes and reducing operational risks
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
