Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 clients including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Lead tax preparation and planning for S corporations, partnerships, and C corporations
- Implement internal controls and process improvements using QuickBooks and Xero
- Conduct audits and reviews for mid-sized businesses across manufacturing, healthcare, and retail sectors
- Mentor junior accountants and provide exceptional client communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firm background
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel with VBA skills
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Ohio tax codes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forensic accounting
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
