Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and accuracy
- Manage reconciliations for multi-entity accounts and investment portfolios
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models for strategic planning
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize departmental workflows
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders through clear reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and SEC reporting requirements
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Experience in financial services or investment accounting preferred
