Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow optimization
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific financial regulations
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support quarterly/year-end filings
- Utilize QuickBooks Online/Xero for real-time financial reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero and Excel (Advanced functions)
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred (not required)
- Demonstrated experience with daily payroll processing and tax filings
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in remote environments
- Strong communication skills for client relationship management
