Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Analyze variance reports and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Maintain GAAP-compliant accounting systems and documentation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Prepare tax filings and regulatory compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Strong SOX compliance and internal audit background
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Texas CPA license required
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
