Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with reconciliation accuracy
- Manage complex accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow forecasting
- Oversee audit preparation and documentation for external compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize department workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
