Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closing, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead audit preparation and documentation for external reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records using Oracle NetSuite ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and California regulations
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
