Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for business decisions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and state-specific tax requirements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and present financial statements to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
