Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation
- Collaborate on budget forecasting and financial modeling initiatives
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Support external audit preparations and tax compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and SOX compliance
- Expertise in financial reporting systems (ERP experience required)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience managing multi-state operations
