Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data and prepare management reports with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate general ledger and reconcile accounts
- Support tax preparation and regulatory compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of process optimization
- Active Georgia CPA license required
