Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead tax preparation and compliance for multi-state entities
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite)
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and growth recommendations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Proven experience with forensic accounting audits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance
