Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Prepare detailed financial statements and executive dashboards for stakeholder review
- Lead special projects such as system implementations or process optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience a plus)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and industry compliance standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders
