Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for business decisions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations while maintaining internal controls
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews and prepare supporting documentation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and improve operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
- Proven experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
