Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis for strategic decisions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
