Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) for internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
- Develop and implement accounting controls to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax filings
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Proven track record of optimizing accounting processes and improving accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and regulatory compliance preferred
