Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and tax season
- Lead process improvement initiatives using financial software like QuickBooks Online and SAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA skills and financial reporting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and multi-state tax regulations
