Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 99.8% accuracy targets
- Lead internal audits and compliance reviews for 15+ client portfolios
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models for strategic planning
- Collaborate with tax department to ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff on GAAP principles and system protocols
- Optimize accounting workflows using NetSuite and QuickBooks Enterprise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data trends
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit procedures
- Certification in QuickBooks or NetSuite highly desirable
