Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple business units
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for Nevada operations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy and process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations and board reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in multi-state compliance and tax reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial data
- Experience leading audit engagements and SOX compliance initiatives
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
