Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles, implementing efficient workflows and vendor management systems
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP compliance, financial reporting standards, and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
- Proven experience managing month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
