Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls ensuring GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Lead audit preparation processes and respond to regulatory inquiries
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
