Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow management
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple business units
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven experience with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
