Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain accurate general ledger and financial databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a plus
