Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and executive dashboards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparations
- Implement process improvements and automate accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 a plus)
- Proven track record in month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Active AZ CPA license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
