Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX compliance initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Develop and maintain detailed budgets and financial forecasts
- Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals during engagements
- Optimize accounting systems for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven experience managing month-end/year-end close cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
