Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ clients
- Conduct audits and implement internal control improvements
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and year-end reporting
- Develop financial models and forecasting for business planning
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Strong knowledge of California tax laws and reporting requirements
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
