Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze complex financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Conduct in-depth financial variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles, optimizing cash flow and operational efficiency
- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Mentor junior staff and process improvements within the accounting department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
