Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with accurate reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and implement internal controls for financial integrity
- Mentor junior accountants and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
