Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closing, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting systems
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate external audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with multi-state tax regulations
