Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Coordinate external audits and maintain compliance documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience with nonprofit or manufacturing accounting a plus
