Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for 50+ client portfolios
- Lead internal audits and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance
- Develop cash flow forecasting models and working capital optimization strategies
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and intercompany reconciliations
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly tax provisions
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial analytics platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years public accounting experience with Big 4 background
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA)
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-state compliance
- Experience with SEC reporting and SOX controls
- Strong analytical skills with financial modeling expertise
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional financial projects
- Illinois CPA license in good standing
