Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable processes for 50+ vendors
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities with audit support
- Implement and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Lead accounts reconciliation for complex balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Optimize accounting workflows using NetSuite ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in NetSuite, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
