Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct reconciliations and variance analysis for balance sheet accounts
- Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for leadership
- Maintain internal controls and documentation procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Proven experience managing financial reporting cycles
