Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliation processes
- Lead financial statement preparation and analysis for executive stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Prepare tax documentation and coordinate external audits
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
